I joined LSFH in August 2021 with over 29 years of accounting, finance experience, HR and customer service experience. I am familiar with multiple accounting software systems. I have an Associates in General Studies from McLennan Community College and BBA in Business Management from the University of Texas in Arlington, which I obtained while working full-time, attending school at night and raising my children. Throughout my career, I have obtained multiple years of practice in fund accounting, tax reporting, treasury, financial management, budgeting, payroll, HR and much more.

Born and raised in the Central Texas area, I have a servant’s heart and love to be able to help and serve others as it says in 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” For many years, I volunteered to help our local food bank drive in Riesel, and my family and I are members of Parkview Baptist Church in Waco. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children and three grandchildren as well as camping, fishing, hunting, and baking with my youngest daughter. I love advocating for children with special needs because my grandson has cerebral palsy and it’s always an uphill battle as he perseveres challenges every day.

In 2018, I lost my mother-in-law to cancer and Lake Shore Funeral Home was a huge blessing to our family because we were numb and didn’t know where to begin. Brent helped guide us through the funeral services without any hiccups while we grieved the loss of our beloved mother. And now, a few years later, becoming part of the funeral industry has been a blessing for me to be able to serve others. Even though I’m in the shadows processing the financials, I have the opportunity to meet some amazing people.
