Nicholas Esquibel Jr, 80, affectionately known by family as “Pete,” passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Memorial Service: 2pm Friday, April 26, 2024 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Mark Foster will be officiating the service.

Born on September 13, 1943, Pete was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. Throughout his life, Pete’s strength, wisdom, and compassion brought comfort and joy to all who knew him. His legacy of love will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by his presence.

Pete is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carole June Esquibel; children, Mona Davilla, Michael Gomez, and Jeffrey Coker, parents; Nicholas Day Esquibel Sr. and Frances Louise Esquibel, and siblings, Jerry Ray “Diddle” Esquibel, Mary “MiMi” Cleavland, Tommy Lee Esquibel, and Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Esquibel.

Pete’s memory will forever be cherished by his surviving siblings; Juanita “Nita” Grubbs, Kathlene “Suzie” Esquibel, David Esquibel, Freddie Esquibel, and Patsy Gibson. He will also be remembered with love by his daughters; Tina Ramirez, Nicole Smith, and Tammy Smith and friends Greg Elliot and Mark Foster.

Pete’s presence will be deeply missed by his grandchildren; Robert Revillas Jr., Lauren Rene Revillas, Gabrielle Selena Revillas, Michael Ayala, Cecilia Ayala, Lupe Ayala, Nicholas Esquibel, John Davilla, Jennifer Davilla, Angel Foster Ash, Tristan Coker, Kayla Coker, Chastity Harrison, Aaron Josh Foster, Zacqery Elliot, Skylar Coker, Natasha Coker, and numerous great-grandchildren.

He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, Pete.
