Willie Santo, 68, of Chalk Bluff, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his residence. Graveside services will be 10AM Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff with Rev. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Szanto and Rita (Jones) Szanto; and brothers, Robert Lee Szanto, Jr. and David C. Szanto, Sr.

Survivors include wife of 43 years, LaNell Santo of Chalk Bluff; daughters, Tina Santo of Gholson, and Brandi Davis and husband Mark of Cleburne; son, Scott Szanto and wife Gloria of Hubbard; grandchildren, Dayde, Hunter, Walker, Emma, and Breeanne; sisters, Gretchen Thunderburk and husband Dwaine of Groesbeck and Sammye Poppell and husband Scott of San Antonio; and brothers, Tim Szanto and wife Azar of Chalk Bluff, Randy Szanto and wife Katherine of Bellmead, and Bruce Szanto and wife Ann of Chalk Bluff.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Blasingame, Brad Szanto, David C. Szanto, Jr., Andrew Szanto, John Woodruff, and Oscar Amaro.

    We are thinking of you. We are so sorry. We love you all even though there are no more Jones family reunions and we don’t see each other any more. Mom and I still remember Willie from the farm with Aunt Reet and Uncle Bob. I think it was Willie who gave me the little black rabbit.
