Bill was born April 26, 1951 in Fabens, Texas to Richard and Jessie Glenn. He graduated from Pecos High School in 1971 and began his career as a butcher and meat market manager. Bill’s favorite hobbies were fishing, camping, and boating. He had a passion for all animals, especially dogs, and he gave a loving home to many dogs that he rescued. He loved feeding and watching the birds that flocked in his backyard. Bill also loved collecting Windberg paintings and could spot one all the way across an antique shop. Bill was good at teaching and helping those around him. Bill enjoyed hosting the family reunions, and he always kept a special spot in his heart for his grandson, Michael.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Richard; mother, Jessie; brother, Clifton; sister, Patricia Ann; and nephews, Jerry Wayne, Wendell and Richard.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Shannon and Clint (Crystal); grandson, Michael; sister, Lora Mae; brother, James Richard and wife, Gaye; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Rusty, Lily and Max.

Memorial donations to Fuzzy Friends Rescue in Waco or to another charity of your choice in Bill’s name would be a wonderful remembrance of Bill.

  7. Rest in peace my old friend. Bill was the first manager I met while interviewing at Wal-Mart. Big old empty building and I thought dang this man walks fast. As I would walk to keep up he would get faster, later found out that was a test and Bill told me I passed. He told me that a lot of people he walked off from them and they could not even find where he went. Lot of good memories in those 13 years at 1254. Sorry for your loss Mary, prayers sent for you and your’s
