William Herman King, 64, of Waco, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at a Waco hospital. No formal services are scheduled. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Bill was born October 17, 1945 in Tampa, FL to Isaac and Virginia (Kyle) King. He grew up near Mariana, FL. He graduated from Florida International University in 1977. He worked in civil service with the U.S. Air Force and then with the State of Florida Corrections.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack King; and sister, Pam Whittington.
Survivors include wife, Nancy King of Waco; sons, William Michael King and wife, Shari of Florida and Gregory Scott King and wife, Melissa of California; step-daughters, Kathy DeOliveira and husband, Bill of North Carolina and Kristy Petersen and husband, Greg of China Spring; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
