Stewart Scott, 85, of Waco passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Visitation: 6 – 8PM Thursday, June 22 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Funeral Service: 10AM Friday, June 23 at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Burial to follow Bosqueville Cemetery.

Stewart was born January 16, 1938 in Lubbock, Texas. He was the second child of Maurice and Kathleen Scott. Stewart went to Abilene High School and was a part of the 1956 graduating class. In 1959 Stewart met Myrna and they were married May 26th of 1961. They were blessed with two boys, Brad and Jeff. This year, Stewart and Myrna celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

Stewart was a Christian man who honored God and his family. He enjoyed spending time in his shop repairing things for his friends and family. He was a very devoted friend and would be there for anyone in need. He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Maurice and Kathleen Scott.

He is survived by his wife Myrna; two sons, Brad Scott and wife Christie of Lake Jackson, Jeff Scott and wife Terri of Moody; sister, Kay Geary and husband Dewey of Waco; four grandchildren, Kelly Scott of San Marcos, Justin Scott and wife Callie of Brazoria, Meranda Scott of Austin, and Jamyon Scott of Lexington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
