Simon Rodriguez, 57, was born May 2, 1966 to Carmen Collazo Rodriguez and Placido Servin Sanchez in Guanajuato, Mexico and passed away March 25, 2024 in Bruceville-Eddy Texas.
He is preceded in death by is father, Placido Servin Sanchez.
Simon is survived by his wife of 21 Years, Belinda Salazar Rodriguez of Bruceville TX; children, Carla, Corina, Rolando, Saul, and Carlos and multiple grandchildren; sisters, Lucinda, Reyna, Guadalupe, Maria, Carmen, Eduwigis; brothers, Emigdio and Patricio; also survived by his mother, Carmen Collazo Rodriguez.
Simon was a kind soul that helped anyone without hesitation. He was especially known for stopping to help those stranded on the highway. He was extremely hardworking often working many hours a day making sure the job was done right. Simon loved to travel and was very adventurous often opting to zip lining thru the jungle, paragliding over the Bahamas, or swimming with dolphins during his yearly cruises with his wife. Simon loved food, spending time with his family, and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Simon gained many friends over the years and he was especially fond of his dear friend Mr. Bill Davis and his wife Karen Davis. The family would like to send our sincere thanks to them for everything they’ve done for him and his family.
