Ronnie Sue (Sparkman) Turner

Ronnie Sue Turner passed away October 11, 2023 at The Brazos of Waco Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness, at the age of 81. She was born in Amarillo, Texas.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date, to be determined.

She retired from Owen Illinois (glass plant) in 1997. She married Melvin Turner in 1979, and moved to China Spring, Texas. One of her great loves was fishing and going to the coast and spending time with family. Everything she bought had hummingbirds on it, they were her favorite.  She had a great love for plants and had an awesome green thumb, some of her favorite plants were 4, 0clocks and oleanders. She always had a yard full of plants. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, she loved being with all the family. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

She is preceded in death by husband, Melvin Turner; parents, Robert (Bob) Wood, and Charlotte Wood and Lonnie Sparkman; sister, Judy Rahmberg and husband Gene Rahmberg; son-in-law, Charles Holston, and other family members, Michael Crawford Evans and Anthony (Tony) Dean Keller.

Survivors include one brother, Vernon Wood; children, Steve Finley and other half Mary Keller, Danny Turner and wife Ivy Nell, Cecil Turner, Shelly Lawrence and husband Tracy, Sharon Stanley, and Darlene Henderson; nephews, Ricky McGilvray; neice, Dana Wood; grandchildren, Dustin Williams and wife Nicole, Stacy Finley and other half Woody Woodall, Preston Finley, Justin Stanley, Kia (Shelby) Keller, James Biddy, Trina Lewis and husband Billy, Heather Turner, Leonard Davidson and wife Tanya, Matt Turner, Aaron Turner and wife Taylor, Brian Henderson and wife Kristi, and Josh Henderson. Numerous great grand children and other family members.
