Roger Myron Capps, 58, of Schertz, Tx, formerly of Waco, passed away Thursday, November 29th, 2012 in Waco, Tx. Family graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Anna, Texas at a later date, with Dr. James L. Cooper, officiating.

Roger was born in McKinney, Texas on July 19, 1954 to Wallace and Doris Capps. Most of his working career was in lumber sales with various companies in Waco and San Antonio. He was a Baptist.

He graduated from Richfield High School in 1972 and Baylor University. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Capps and his nephew, J.P. Capps.

He is survived by his son, Addison J. Capps of Schertz, Texas; father , Wallace G. Capps and his wife, Carmen, of Waco; a brother, David A. Capps, of Waco; a sister, Glenda Stewart and her husband, Gerald, of Waco; a granddaughter, Madelyn Jean Chinney, of Schertz; a niece, Cindy Capps Lynch and her husband, Doug; a great-niece, Riley Doris Capps; and nephews, Jeremy and Nathan Stewart.

The family requests no flowers, instead memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
