Robert Ray Stolle, 67, of Waco, left this life on the morning of March 3, 2024 and is now resting in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Visitation: 9 – 10AM Wednesday, March 13 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Celebration of Life: 10AM Wednesday, March 13 at Lake Shore Funeral Home. A reception will follow at The Erath building on 11630 Tree Lake Drive, Waco, Texas.

Robert was born on October 14, 1956 in Portales, NM. In 1976 Robert married Carol Schroeder and they worked, raised a family, attended church, and were a team for 47 years. Robert loved the Lord, family, coffee, pickles, tractors, Canton first Monday trade days, making people laugh, and his church family at Tree Lake Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Stolle; mother, Mary Stolle; two sisters, Alice Rose and Judy Sullivan; and brother, Ernest Stolle, Jr.

Robert is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Jason Stolle (Rachel); four grandchildren, Reese, Raeleigh, Alex, and Zane Stolle; two sisters, Alice Joyce Buchanan and Clara Reedy (Butch); two brothers, Jack Stolle (Katherine) and Justin Stolle (Diane); along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his church family.

The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice and Hospice unit at Providence Village for all their care and support during Robert’s battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tree Lake Baptist Church, 11519 China Spring Road, Waco, Texas 76708.

    I knew Robert as a spiritual warrior for Jesus. He went with me into Satan’s lair one time just me and him facing demons that were attacking Gods servants. He was not a flashy man but a solid servant of his Lord Jesus. I look forward to spending eternity with my dear brother.
