Robert Louis Nevarez, 21, a life-time resident of Waco, tragically passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008. Funeral services will be 10AM, Friday, August 29th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Thursday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco. Robert will be available for viewing starting Thursday morning. A Video Life Tribute will be shown at the visitation and service. Following the burial, the family will gather at Mutulista Hall at 2214 S. 15th St. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Robert was born November 22, 1986 to Teresa Nevarez and Robert Martinez. He attended University High School. He worked for Ultra Clean Services. Robert loved life. He was a friendly, quiet, and loving person who was always willing to lend a hand.
Survivors include parents, Teresa and Daniel Nino, and Robert Martinez; brother, Jacob Nino; step brothers, Robert Anthony Martinez, Jr. and Augustine Martinez; grandparents, Manuel Nevarez, Christine Nevarez, Raymond Mendoza, Lorenzo and Shelia Nino, Mary and Gilbert Martinez, and Janie Nino; great grandparents, Candido and Carri Gonzales; and numerous other relatives including close cousin, Krystal Kesen.

Please know that you are all in our prayers. I know that this is unimaginable, and I absolutley hate that you have to bury yet another son/ grandson. Robert, Even though you guys have lost touch through the years, Gilbert has always had a place for you in his heart and is proud of the fact that you were his best friend for so many years.
Teresa, I cannot imagine what you are going through right now, but I can say that it is evident that God has taken over. You seem to have a calm about you that cannot be explained. I pray that God continues to watch over you. I also want to say thank you so much for allowing Gilbert and I to be a part of Baby Robert’s life, trusting us to be his God Parents. I’m so glad that we re-connected with him after so many years and were able to tell him how we felt about him. Always a friend.

Teresa,I can only remember when we became friends & robert was 6 years old .You were there when I had Aaron & then my daughter Airileesia.Then When I suddenly lost her you were there beside me.The pain we endure from losing a child is unimaginable.A heart piercing expierience I wish no one had to endure.I only pray that god will give you and Daniel ,Jacob & all of your family the peace of his holy spirit that will guide you through the storm.I prau for comfort,guidance,& courage for you to carry on for your family.I love you and I am truly dearly sorry for your lost.We never will understand why god choose to take our children at the time that he does but I hope you can see the rainbow of god’s promises that do come when the storm has calmed.May god bless your hearts and souls with and clarity.
