Raymond Grote, 71, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Cremation entrusted to Lake Shore Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 2pm, Sunday December 1, at Hewitt Community Church, 212 Kiowa Trail, Hewitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond B. Grote and Ruth M. Grote.
He is survived by his wife, Julie M. Bobeck-Grote; two sons, Raymond J. Grote of York Haven, PA, and Jeffrey M. Grote and wife Melanie on Piqua, OH;daughter, Theresa C. Strausbaugh and husband, Norman of Bridgeville, PA; five grandchildren, Raymond Grote, Caitlyn Grote, Jeffrey Grote, and Jessica Strausbaugh, and Amanda Strausbaugh; sister, Ardith Grote of OH; two brothers, Richard Grote and wife, Jana of WA, and Michael Grote and wife, Donna; four nephews; and many other beloved friends and family members.
