Gonna miss my neighbor, Paul Christopher ! Many memories of my mom & dad Paul & Carman My sons & Carman & their other friends spent a lot of time in the Summer months playing in the Brazos River. Paul always had a small garden and I’m gonna miss those tomatoes he would share with us. I have pictures of my parents 50th wedding anniversary because of Paul. So many memories! I pray condolences, peace, mercy, & grace over all the family & friends now and for the coming days.

    • All of you guys are my extended family, I hope you will always know that. I am truly grateful that Dad had you all for neighbors thru all of these years. I am truly grateful to each of you for always being there for him for anything, and here lately for the many many emergencies and ER trips that were occurring. But most of all, I want to acknowledge, David, your so giving son, for EVERYTHING that he did for Dad. Daddy said he thought of David as a son, and he loved him very much, I don’t think David has any idea just how much he loved him. I know how grateful he was for him. I can never repay David for the care and respect and love he has shown our daddy. We are blessed to ALL of you in our lives.

I am so very sorry for your loss Carmen and Mark. Extremely sorry. I loved Uncle Paul all my life. He was the coolest guy to me. ( and handsome) He always made me laugh and I treasured all the times we were able to be together in person as well as talk on the phone. My last visit with my Mom and Kent, we had the absolute best time playing non-stop ROOK siblings against siblings. We laughed so much and enjoyed our time with hearing all the interesting stories. Uncle Paul always was a good story teller!!! He showed us his collections of history and newspapers which was a treat too! Loved hearing about D.B. Cooper!!!! Kent and I had fun cooking breakfast for Uncle Paul and Mom listening to their sibling banter!! and what a tomato grower! so generous and kind, even thought he had a temper at times….I just loved his personality. Don’t forget his CAR!!! She was part of the family too! You haven’t lived till you rode in that car with Uncle Paul driving !! It was simply a great trip that I will treasure. I always looked forward to seeing him no matter the occasion. He really loved his family deeply and was extremely proud of each and every one of you. He would use the word OUTSANDING to describe yall when telling us any news. He always treated me and my family with love. He will be truly missed. My heart is broken. I know yall’s is too. 5. Gordon Christopher

To all of Uncle Paul’s immediate family, I offer my sincere condolences. A good man that will be missed by everyone that was a part of his life. I enjoyed whenever I was in his presence, to listen to his stories and his laughter. He was truly loved by everyone. I remember in the early eighties I was in the Waco area and called him on the phone and he invited me to come and spend the night and he fed me and we talked and had a good visit. I will never forget that, I hate that I didn’t get to see him the last time he was here in Tn, nobody let me know he was here but I will miss him as will everyone that knew him.

    • Thank you Gordon! yes, he was loved by so many and we know that the family in TN loved him as much as we did. We will be bringing him home to Big Sandy soon to be placed next to Grandma Merle. He is at peace. Our hearts are so heavy and we miss him so much already. Thank you for your kind words. God Bless!
