Oma was born May 12, 1939 to Jessie and Olga (Lewis) Brown in Antlers, OK. Oma retired from Hughes Aircraft. She was a fun loving individual and always had a smile on her face. She loved the time she could be with her family and hosted many family gatherings at her home. She was especially happy to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved to be on the floor playing with them. She was dearly loved by all who knew her
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Nick Sims; and two sisters, Ruth Stark and Joy Jay.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Sims, of Vista, CA; three children, Jimmy and Lynn Sims of Sulfur, LA, Lisa and Rick Pacheo of Vista, CA, and Tony Sims of Crestline, CA; nine grandchildren, Christopher Sims, Travis Sims, Nicholas Sims, Kenny Sims, Summe Santos, Dustin Pacheo, Danny Pacheo, Ashley Spafford, and David Pacheo; four step-grandchildren, David Bongberg, Cayla Clopton, and Shane Romano; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vonnie Boynton and Pat Stone; two brothers, Jessie Brown, and Harry Brown.
