Nora Carole Sutton Whitted went into the loving arms of her Savior March 5, 2024.

Visitation: 6 – 8PM Thursday, March 14 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral Service: 10AM Friday, March 15 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Wymore officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

She was born in Fort Worth, TX on February 15, 1943, to Bert and Lillian Pace. She married her childhood sweetheart Tom Sutton, who was the father of her three children. Later, she married Ronald Whitted of Waco, TX.

She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. To know her was to love her.

Nora was a precious servant of God. She blessed others through her many years of work at the Waco Center for Youth, as a faithful member of New Vision Family Fellowship, and as one of the founders of Dayspring Campground Ministries, where she also served on staff for nearly 30 years. Only time will reveal how many hearts she has affected through her labors of love.

Nora was preceded in death by her father, Bert Pace, Sr., mother Lillian Barnes, brother Bert Pace, Jr., and sister Linda Hodges.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Sutton (wife Mary Ann) of Waco, Todd Sutton (wife Laurie) of Coer D’Alene, ID, and Lori Wymore (husband Larry) of Waco. She has seven grandsons, 14 great-grandchildren,
and many nieces and nephews. Her love for her family and her Lord was her trademark.

Pallbearers are: Nicholas Sutton, Eric Sutton, Joshua Wymore, Jared Wymore, Joel Wymore, and Jeremy Felkner.

    Noah was a good friend of mine from childhood. Always had a kind loving spirit and we always kept in touch until just the last few years. I guess you could say she was probably my best friend I ever had. She will be missed dearly, until we join her one day with the father in heaven.
