Nila was such a special lady. Enjoyed all of the time we spent at Bellmead First Baptist and after. Friendship is a lifetime blessing. Nila was loved by all who knew her. May God bless you all

  2. Michelle Mayfield Alcantar and Bobby

I knew Nila all my life and she will be greatly missed. Growing up we always went to “the Hills” for July 4th and December 31st celebrations. Staying up to the wee hours playing games. We even got snowed in for 3 days and the electricity went out but never fear…we had candles. I have great memories throughout the years. She was there when my dad and husband were going thru cancer to always offer support and be there if we ever needed a listening ear. Nila was always considered to be like family to us and she will always have a special place in our hearts. Nila, you will be loved and missed and you will have a special place in heaven.

  3. Sweet lady my girls took piano lessons for several years from her. She had the patience of Job, rest in peace sweet lady.

  4. Thinking of Nila, and her family today. I took piano lessons with Nila from 12 to 16. She was so passionate about music, and her students education. She was loved dearly by all her students, and she has made life long impacts on all of us who enjoyed learning from her.
    She will be truly missed.

  5. I was do saddened to hear of Nila’s passing My daughter Jamie took piano lessons from her for some time. We were also so happy when Nila gave my Mother Mildred Greenwood piano lessons when Mom was in her 80’s. That was such a fun time and accomplishment for her. The Hill Family is a long-standing family here in Chalk Bluff. Nile was a generous and kind person. She always had a smile on her face. May God bless her family and keep them safe within his loving arms.

  7. Janice Patterson

I was so sorry to hear about Nila’s passing. Our children, Michelle and Keith, took piano lessons from her. I remember when she was going thru chemo. She never missed a lesson. She also played the organ at Bellmead First Baptist and I’m pretty sure she never missed a Sunday. She has blessed many lives, including ours. She was a true Christian and friend. Our family will cherish the memories of her. She was an inspiration. God bless each of you during this time.

  8. Courtney McRae Crawford

I was a student of Mrs. Hill for over 10 years. Even though I haven’t studied with her in a long time, her passion for piano and music inspired me where I still play music to this day. I have such fond memories of her and will carry them throughout my life.
