Mary Evelyn Smotherman, 65, of Waco, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Mary was born April 2, 1947, to Coleman and Myrtle Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Smotherman; daughter, Kim Garvin; son, Bruce Smotherman; sister, Blanche Brill; brother, Kenny Morgan; grandsons, Justin Smotherman and Eli Garvin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
