Marrin Tyron Easley

Marrin Tyrone Easley, 61, of Waco, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024.

Marrin was born to Gay Nell Easley and Jasper Tankum in McLennan County, Texas. He went to Jefferson Moore High school where he played football. Marrin then moved from Waco to Waxahachie water department for ten years. He then moved back to Waco and started doing maintenance work for Brothers Management for 20 years.

Marrin was dedicated to Marshall Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Montgomery, Pastor. He loved the Lord. Marrin met Lakrisha Lynn Reed in 2007. They had two children. They married at Jeffrey place in 2022. Marrin was a good husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He loved fishing, football, and working on his 1981 Chevy where he delivered his first child, Marrin T. Easley, Jr. AKA Chevy. Most of all he loved reading his bible.

Marrin is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Ann Easley (Mitchell); and brother, Emit Earl Washington, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Lakrisha Reed; son, Marrin T. Easley, Jr.; daughter, Lakerria L. Easley; brothers, Robert B. Easley (Yvette), Joey L. Easley; nephew, Winston T. Easley; and special cousin, Pearlie M. Fields; along with a host of nephews and nieces.

The family would like to give thanks to Jeffrey Place Nursing Home and the care they provided. Special thanks to Nyla McCullough.
