Margaret Ervin Butler, age 80, of Waco, Texas, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.

Service Information: Visitation is Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday at 10:00 am at the Doris Miller Memorial Park.

Margaret was born October 7, 1940 to Flossie and Nathaniel Ervin in Waco, Texas.

She was a 1958 graduate of A.J. Moore High School. Margaret was a people person who never met a stranger. She loved talking to people and was always the life of the party.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted children; Robin Ervin, Alonzo (Tammy) Butler, Bronshe’ (Kerrie) Butler and Felicia (Von) Gladden; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

  7. Robin and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was the sweetest lady, I worked with her at Providence and her caring compassionate attitude caused me to fall in love with her. Robin, I knew her before you were born and you were the apple of her eye. Later I heard her speak fondly of Bronshe’. She was loved by many and loved many, she will be missed. May God provide you comfort during this difficult time.
