Lydia June Wells

Lydia June Wells, 65, of China Spring, passed away Saturday, February 29th at a local hospital.

Funeral Service:  2PM Wednesday, March 4th at Parkview Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. No visitation is planned.

Lydia was born December 15, 1954 in Hico to Earl and June (Smith) Powers.  She married Keith Wells on June 15, 1973 in China Spring. She was a seamstress and made wedding dresses over the years. She provided for her family and loved her family dearly. She was a giving person. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Vinson Powers; and aunt Doris Hodges.

Survivors include husband of 46 years, Keith Wells; son, Scott; daughter, Danessa; son, Gerald; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild;  mother, June Powers; sisters, Alicia Norman and Tara Conway, brothers, J.T. Powers and Bruce Powers.

Place of Service: Parkview Baptist Church , 1100 East Lake Shore Drive; Waco, TX 76708
