On Tuesday, October 13, 2009, our precious mother and grandmother, Lorine Naomi Praesel, passed away at a local nursing home. A celebration of her life centered on her family and her love of country will be held 10:00, Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Su Milam, associate pastor First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Her family will be honored to accept visits on Monday, October 19, 2009, from 6:00

We are sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I am sorry we were not able to attend the funeral, but we didn’t hear about it until just the other day. My dad sent us the obituary. I was very fortunate and blessed to have this wonderful woman brought into my life experience through family ties. Over the years her kindness and generosity was much appreciated by someone who did not have any living grandparents left. With such a loving thoughtful way, Lorine always took the time to give of herself for her family. Her strength and conviction of character is clearly seen in her own children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Many tender moments have been shared, and her memory will live on through her family and friends. She will be always be loved and truly missed.
We love you Grandma! Thank you for loving us and being such a wonderful example.

I will remember your Mother’s precious smile as I go back through years past. Keep your memories of her safely tucked away in your heart so that from time to time when you are feeling sad from her absence here on this earth, you can immediately find one to make you smile and feel warm and cozy inside!
