Lisa Norman, 75, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Lisa was born August 13, 1948 to Clark Holsonback and Margaret Sparks Holsonback. Born into a large family, Lisa was close to her family, and raised to be kind and helpful. She often helped take care of her younger sibling and upon graduation from high school, met and married Ralph. Deciding to become a school teacher like her husband, this suited her kind and caring nature perfectly. She taught for over 30 years before retirement, mostly to 5th grade and special education children. She was also an avid crafter of blankets, practicing both quilting and crocheting. She would often make blankets not just for family but donation to shelters to aid those who were in need. Another reflection of her kind nature was her love of pets, especially dogs. She adopted many rescue dogs throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Clark Holsonback, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ralph Norman; son, Robert Norman; daughter, Amy Norman; brother and his children, Steven Holsonback, and Holly, Hillary, and Harrison Holsonback; and sister, Carol Yoakum.
