Judy A. McReynolds, 66, of Waco, passed away Saturday, May 24th at her residence.

Cremation services entrusted to Lake Shore Funeral Home. Private family services to be held.

Judy was born in 1947 to Ray and Mary (Dice) Shiffer in Hutchinson, Kansas, and grew up in Medora. She was united in marriage to Ed McReynolds on August 4, 1964. They spent just shy of 50 years together in marriage, but hit that milestone easily when you take into consideration how long they had been in love with one another. Judy loved to travel, and with Ed, they visited 26 states together- usually taking to the open road by car on a whim, ready for whatever adventure was ahead. One of her favorite places was Colorado, due to the beautiful landscape. Often, Ed and Judy would hop in the car and decide where their destination would be when they got there; as long as they were together, it didn’t matter.
Judy was not just well traveled, she also was an excellent bowler, enjoyed cooking for friends and family, and had a soft heart for animals.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Johnny Lee McReynolds; and three sisters, Donna Lott, Della Collie, and Mary Bates.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ed McReynolds; son, Mike and wife Melissa; four grandchildren, Chad, Jessica, Tosha, and Tiffany; six great-grandchildren, Justin, Jayeda, Jorden, Nevaeh, Mia, and Asher; two brothers, Ray “Bud” Shiffer and wife Lilly, and Leroy “Jim” Shiffer and wife Melessa; two sisters, Raylene Wall and husband Gary, and Linda Spicer and husband Terri; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Memorials in memory of Judy may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
