Judith Maureen Shelton or Judy as she was known to all, 65, of Waco, passed away October 12, 2023. Judy grew up in Littlefield, Texas and attended Littlefield High School before moving to Waco. In high school, she was active in band and played several instruments. In 2000, Judy met the love of her life, David, they were married, on December 16, 2006.

 

She loved to sing karaoke with her friends and family and enjoyed playing card games with her children. She also loved spending time with her four-legged child, “Baby.”

Judith was preceded in death by her parents; Y.B. “Jumbo” and Mildred Thompson; and granddaughter, Shellby Poeling.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, David Shelton of Waco, TX; brother, Gary Thompson of Waco, TX; sister, Mary Rowe of Minnesota; daughter, Beverly Sears of Clarendon, TX; sons, Keith Poeling of Phoenix, AZ, and Jaxson Henderson of Amarillo, TX; one niece, five nephews, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many friends and family who loved and admired her.

Service dates and times are currently pending. Close friends and family will be personally notified once the services have been scheduled.
