Joyce entered into the arms of her loving Savior surrounded by her loving family on the afternoon of July 11, 2023.

MiMa lived her life for her family. The kids playing in the front yard, sitting with her on the front porch swing and playing Mario! Her cooking made her family and friends look forward to Thanksgiving, especially her dressing and homemade pies! Her home and table were always open. Her love was always unconditional. Our love for her was just as strong.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Alvin L. Rose; her parents, T.C. and Alvina Richardson; daughter, Vicky Rose-Guerra; and granddaughter, Melissa Rose.
She is survived by her brother, Edwin Richardson of Katy, TX; son, Michael Rose and wife Kathy of Troy, TX; daughter, Phyllis Hamel and husband Rodney of Clifton, TX; grandchildren, Laura Rose, Brandon Rose and wife Jacqueline, Jessica Moore and husband Mike, Jennifer Leitner and husband Danny, Amanda Guerra Krenek and husband Gary and Levi Hamel; great grandchildren, Hunter Rose, Jayden Wetlesen, Blaine Wetlesen, Kaileigh Wetlesen, Kai Leitner, Zane Leitner, Kamryn Rose Pankonien, Paisley Rose, Landyn Rose, Hayden Rose, Harper Rose, Jordan Krenek and Jayliann Taylor; nieces and nephews, Aaron Richardson, Jeffrey Richardson, and Robin Pean.
