  6. Joe was such a blessing to me. I was in his Sunday School class/discussion group at China Spring Methodist. He challenged me in my thinking and in my relationship with God. He and I shared with each other books that challenged our faith. We discussed our calls into ministry and the faith/doubts that sometimes enter into our Christian walks.

I thought of Joe as a spiritual mentor, a guide, and a Barnabas encourager. I know He is rejoicing with His Father, but I also know there are some of us here who will greatly miss him! I am so very thankful our lives’ paths crossed.
