Joan Marie Sabia, age 90, of Kenilworth, passed away February 6, 2024. Joan was born on March 3, 1933 in Kenilworth. She was the first child of William and Margaret Zimmerman.
In 1951 Joan met Michael Sabia Jr. and they were married one year later. Eventually they had two children, Joseph and Michael. Last year, Michael and Joan celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. They lived in Elizabeth, NJ, Beach Haven NJ, Brick, NJ, Melbourne Beach, FL, and Valley Mills, TX.
Joan was very active in the flea market circuit. She devoted many hours to her family
Joan was preceded in death by parents, William and Margaret Zimmerman; husband, Michael Sabia Jr.; and brother, William Zimmerman.
Joan is survived by children, Joseph Sabia (Jennifer Sabia) and Michael Sabia (Dawn Trevors); grandchildren, Jessica Sabia, Joseph Sabia, and Derek Hoover; great-grandchildren Ethan, Ezra, and Isaiah; brother James (Jo Ann) Zimmerman.
