Ginger Darlene Simons, 75, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Ascension Providence Medical Center in Waco.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Funeral Service: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Warnock officiating

Burial: China Spring Cemetery

Ginger was born December 17, 1945 in Waco to Marion Leonard Brown and Ruby Hopkins Brown.  She married Billy Simons on October 12,1962. She was a member of Old West Cowboy Church in Robinson and was the owner of Big Boys’ Wrecker Service at the time of her death. Ginger loved fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter; and four brothers.

Ginger is survived by her two sons, Billy Simons, Jr. and fiancé, Alicia Holder and John Simons and wife, Sandy; one daughter, Kimberly and husband, Charlie Price; grandchildren, Tara Simons, Dakota Holder, Caitlyn Bigham, Chandler and wife, Kandayce Simons, Brad and wife, Jennifer Cogburn, Chris and wife, Crystal Cogburn, Ashley and husband, Aaron Vrba, Trinity Price, Maliah Price and Jordan Price; 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Gale Childs.

Pallbearers will be Chandler Simons, Brad Cogburn, Chris Cogburn, Michael Anderson, Stacey Childs and James Holder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ginger’s memory may be directed to Providence Hospice or the charity of your choice.
