Gary Guerra, Sr.

Gary Guerra, Sr. passed away Friday evening, February 8, 2019.

Memorial Service: 10 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the International Christian Believers Fellowship, 506 Jefferson St, Waco, TX, 76701

Gary was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He’s the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you were cold, even if it meant he would freeze. He would do anything for his family and friends and anyone he met as long as he could help. He knew what it is to forgive and to be forgiven. He spread love to everyone, everywhere he went.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Navidad Guerra, Sr. and son, Gary Guerra Jr.

He is survived by his beautiful and adoring wife of 6 years, Jennifer E. Lawrence. Since the day they met, Gary was in love. She was a true angel in his life and still is to his family. Always there by his side, laughing at his jokes, singing together to their favorite songs, and always taking care of him.

He is also survived, by his mother, Polly and husband, Rodney Mayhew; daughters, Liza Garrett and husband Dustin, Leslie Guerra, and Genny Sharp and husband Justin; grandchildren, Megan, Dakota, and Ty Garrett, Johnathon Minjarez, Jr., and Christopher, Alex and Lacie Sharp; brothers and sisters, Yolanda Velasquez, Mack Guerra, Jr, John Guerra, Perry Guerra, Carl Guerra, Dianne Zapata, Randy Guerra, Zina Guerra, Scott Mayhew; and so many friends.
