Ezra Luke Abel Wilson

Ezra

On Sunday April 18, 2021, our beloved Ezra Luke Abel Wilson closed his eyes one last time on this earth – and opened them in Heaven. No longer handicapped by his different abilities, he is now singing and dancing with Jesus.

Memorial Service: 11AM Friday, April 23rd in the Chapel at Highland Baptist Church.

Ezra was born on December 11, 2012 in Houston Texas, and was placed into his forever family on January 10, 2013. Ezra was born with an array of disabilities including Spina Bifida. He was paralyzed from the waist down, non-verbal, and developmentally delayed. Despite all of his earthly challenges, Ezra was a world changer; an absolute gift to his family. His precious life was evidence that our God is Able to do immeasurably more that we can imagine. Without words, Ezra spoke to countless doctors, nurses, therapists, friends, and family with his eyes and his touch. Even with strangers, Ezra could reach out his hand and share the Good News and how much Jesus loved him. The testimony of Ezra reached deeper and wider than we could possibly know. In heaven, Ezra joins his sister Elaine. Most certainly, they are praising Jesus together, testifying to all the good that He has done through them. And with joy, we lift up our Almighty and celebrate with them. Ezra is survived by his mom and dad, Brandy and Bryan, and his 9 siblings, Emma, Evelyn, Ezekiel, Eli, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Everett, Esmi, and Evan.

Because Ezra brought so much joy to our family, we are starting this memorial fund to help other families wishing to adopt a child with special needs. So instead of flowers or gifts, would you please consider a financial gift to this memorial fund by CLICKING HERE.

Bryan and Brandy – that’s the absolute truth and a beautiful way to reflect on Ezra’s life on earth. I learned so much from him and you guys as y’all walked through the adoption and cared for him. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what a special little guy could grow into. May Gods peace and comfort rest on you and the entire Wilson family.
