Doyle Hill, 63, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.

Service Information: Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 9, at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, at the funeral home.

Doyle was born on January 30, 1958, to Harry and Nadine Hill in Rosenberg, TX. He attended La Vega school, but then left to join the Marines at the age of 17 where he became a corporal before leaving. He loved working for Purvis Industries where he was employed for 25 years. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, and hanging with his sidekick little Mimi Sue. He took great pride in his well manicured yard and enjoyed doing plenty of other projects. He was a man of little words but lots of love. He will be dearly missed, but will live forever in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Nadine Hill; and brother, Dwayne Hill.

Survivors include his daughters, Amy Hill and fiancée, Branden Wickel, Holly Balas and husband, Tj and Kayla Hill and fiancée, Heath Lane; and the girl’s mother, Marianne Sharp Hill; sisters, Donna Teague and husband, Johnnie, Kelli Lauderdale and husband, Bo; grandkids, Karsen and Brenna Wickel, Kamden Butts, Teegan and Tucker Balas; along with many other relatives, nieces and nephews.
