Donald Mark Thaden born February 26, 1939 in North Platte NE, age 84 of Waco, TX passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on December 7, 2023. Donald was surrounded by family as the Lord took him home.

Funeral Service: 2PM Tuesday, December 12 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Stateroom. A gathering of family and friends will take place immediately after service at 107 Amberway, Waco, TX 76705.

Don always enjoyed fishing, camping and tinkering with anything from cars to wood. He was also an avid bowler in his younger years. He worked over 20 years as an electrician and maintenance man for Plantation/Cargill foods before retiring in 2007. Don also served in the National Guard for nine years. He will be sorely missed and always be remembered and loved.

Donald was preceded by his mother, Esther Osborn Thaden; father, Oscar Thaden, and two sisters, Barbara and Kay.

Donald is survived by his wife, Wanda Price Thaden of Waco, TX; twin brother and sister in law, Ron and Karen Thaden of CO; brother and sister in law, Kent and Dorkis Thaden of NE; sister in law and husband, Sharon and Charlie Jones of MO; children, Donna Land Jump of Nunn, CO, Tina Bowman and wife Dawna Bodyfelt of Leander, TX, Annette Davis of Waco, TX, Allen Bowman of Vista, CA, and Ellen and husband Bret Volkel of Man Hatten, KS; ten grandchildren, Allen, Blake, Jacob, Brooke, Tiffany, Jessica, Cory, Justin, Darren and Bryan; nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
