Diana Lynn Barrington Dhane, 49, of Eddy, TX, passed away peacefully Monday October 23, 2023.

Graveside Service: 1PM Thursday, October 26 at Eddy Cemetery

Diana was born December 16, 1973, in Memphis, TN. She grew up in Bellmead and Eddy where she attended La Vega School district and Bruceville-Eddy School district. She earned her CNA qualification in 2011 in Waco, TX. She worked in nursing homes until she transitioned her career into manufacturing and warehousing where she worked for many years and learned forklift operations. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed going to work.

Diana will always be remembered for her immense love and unwavering loyalty for family, her love of butterflies, karaoke, music, art, Dallas Cowboy football, and tattoos. She really liked karaoke, where she could turn the music up so loud that her parents could hear it at their house. Diana enjoyed getting together with family for holidays, and other occasions where everyone would be together laughing, talking, and having fun. Diana’s pride and joy was being a “Granny” to her grandchildren, she adored them and loved every minute she got to spend with them. Cancer has taken our loved one way too soon. She fought valiantly, with amazing courage and determination to spend another day with her loved ones.

Diana was preceded in death by her brother, David Allen Barrington; grandmother, Edna Stewart Tatum; nephew, Douglas Brian Harris; aunts, Nita Ann Roy and Dena Marie Johnson; uncle, Carroll Smith; and great-aunt, Willie Stewart Lawler.

Diana is survived by her parents, Gary and Cathy Barrington of Eddy, sons, Brandon Barrington and wife Susan of Colorado and Jonathon (JD) Barrington of Louisiana; granddaughter, Bria of Waco; brothers, Gary Barrington of Eddy, and Michael Barrington, Sr and wife Lindsey of Troy; sisters, Donna Mulcahy and husband Patrick of China Spring, Karen Morris and husband Terry of Joshua, Sondra Burney of Kerrville; aunts, Ima Gene Warner of San Antonio, Joann Smith of Blanco; nieces and nephews, Chance Young and husband Clyde of North Carolina, Whitney Barrington of Valley Mills, Sadie Barrington of Odessa, Gary Barrington, Jr. of West, Michael Barrington, Jr. of Eddy, Carlee Barrington of Troy, Mylee Barrington of Troy; great-nieces and nephews, Dathan Ingram and wife Christina of Virginia, Ewan Ingram of North Carolina, William Young of North Carolina, Amelia Barrington of Valley Mills, Lily Barrington of Odessa, Caroline Barrington of West; many loving cousins, and lifelong friend, Marjorie Passwater of Louisiana, and her precious cat and constant companion, Comet.
