Delmar Max McCutcheon Terrell was born in Waco, on November 25, 1938 to Lula (Webster) Sanford and Guy McCutcheon.

Funeral Service:11am,Friday July 1,2022 at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

He attended Elementary in Waco and Dunbar High School in Ft. Worth. Shortly afterwards, he entered into the United States Army and served for 2 years before receiving an Honorable Discharge. He then started working for the Missouri-Kansas Railroad. He married Doretha Johnson and had 5 children and later, wood settle in Bellmead.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lula (Webster)Sanford and Guy McCutcheon; brothers, Lafayette Sanford, Roy Sanford, Donald Sanford and David Sanford; and sister, Freddie Mae(Sanford) Bradshaw.

He is survived by his wife, Doretha Terrell; brothers, Paul Sanford of Milwaukee, Sammie Sanford of Ft Worth and Reggie McCutcheon of Ft Worth; daughters, Sandra Wilkerson and Chris of Ft Worth, Lula Miles and Carl of Waco, Dorothy Terrell of Waco and Oneator Burks and Michael of Houston; and son, Delmar Jr. of Waco; grandsons, Pervis, Travis, Chris Jr., Devon, Devontae, Steven, Tyrone, Tony, Patrick, Kyrie, and Datrion; granddaughters, Ebony, Autumn and Raven, life long  friend, Lisa Daniels Drake; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
