Deborah Irene (Abbott) Reed, 51, of Elm Mott passed away Thursday, February 10th, 2022 in Greenville, TX.

Visitation: 5 to 7PM Thursday, February 17 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Her Final Farewell: 10AM Friday, February 18 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a private burial.

Deborah lived her life to help others. As a registered nurse, she specialized in hospice care and showed immense love and compassion for her patients and their families. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren. Deborah loved camping and going to the lake. If it was hot enough outside, you could probably find her near a body of water somewhere with her kids and eventually grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her beloved aunt, Pete, Sharon Rhoden; as well as her father, J.T. Abbott; and grandmother, Dorothy Goff Ashcraft.

Deborah is survived by her mother, Irene Abbott; husband, Daniel “Danny” Perez; daughters, Crystal Irene Jenkins and Nikki Tergerson; grandkids: Devon Grisham, Alexis Jenkins, Ethan Kimball, Trey Dillard, and Khloe Johnson; brother, Michael Abbott and wife Valerie; aunt, Janice Morgan and husband Floyd; uncle, James and wife Lisa; and many cousins and countless friends.

Special thanks to Rachel Morgan for your loving support of Deborah during her final days.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Reed, Joshua & Devon Grisham, Cole & Ethan Kimball, Ryan Robinson, Joshua Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, Deborah’s daughters ask that donations be made in Deborah’s honor to Providence Park: St Catherine’s Center, 300 West Highway 6, Waco, TX 76712.
