Darlene was one of the most kind, gentle, patient human beings I’ve ever known. See was a dedicated City Secretary that always had the best interest of Leroy, Tx at heart. I served as Mayor from 1990 to 1996 with her as my tutor. She patiently taught and help me learn City policy and procedures and kept me straight with Roberts Rules of Order. As a result of her help and encouragement , I continue to serve in another town today. Her husband Danny was also my friend and Leroy’s Fire Chief. They were a great couple and asset to the Town of Leroy. I know she missed him and had to go be with him. May God Bless them both in the mansions of heaven!
