Charles Edward Montgomery

Charles Montgomery, of Waco, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Visitation:  6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Charles E. Montgomery was born July 25, 1951. He graduated high school in Axtell, Texas.  He joined the Air Force on December 29, 1970 where he served until December 28, 1974 and was discharged under honorable conditions. He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Axtell, Texas.

He married high school sweetheart, Linda Montgomery, November 1, 1985.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother Helen Belcher and Step Father Leamon Montgomery, one sister Mary Smith and one brother Michael Beachum

He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Linda Montgomery; father, Preston Beachum (May Pearl); three sons, Diketrick Montgomery, Toby Montgomery (Brittany), Bryan Owens (Stephanie); grandchildren, Draven, Jasmyn, Kellar, Micah, Lawson, Toby Jr., Tomarian, Trinity, Traylin; sisters, Velma (David), Rita, Patty, Sheriel, Christine (Ray), Gretta, Evelyn (Myron), Brigetta (Floyd); and brothers, Leamon (Rose), Glen (Francine), Steve (Deloise), Dwight (Esther), Gary (Star), Donnell (Lisa).
