I met Carol, James and son, Mike, many many years ago in Oklahoma. Although I only knew Carol a short time it was long enough to realize what a sweet and kind woman she was. My prayers are with you, Mike and having lost my own mother, I know the pain of losing your mother and hope and pray the Lord will be with you in the difficult days ahead.

  5. I knew Mrs. Ivey through her son Mike. We were best friends in high school. I spent a lot of time at the Ivey’s house. Mrs. Ivey always made me feel welcome and treated me like another son. I will remember Mrs. Ivey fondly as being a great mother and gracious lady. She never failed to ask if we were hungry, or wanted a soft drink. She was a fantastic lady and will be greatly missed.

    • Thanks Wes. …….. She was always as you describe…… To me and everyone . The whole World is a little dimmer without her.
