Brouke Lin Olvera passed away, on May 21, 2022, in a car accident near Laguna Park at the age of 19.

Brouke was born on August 14, 2002 in Waco.  She was affectionately known as “Bella”, “Broccoli” and “Brouki Cookie”.  She attended school in Whitney until 2010 and then moved to Waco where she attended Midway ISD, graduating in 2020.  While in school she was on the yearbook staff.  She loved taking pictures and wanted to become a professional photographer.  While at Midway, Brouke met the love of her life, Dakota Lee.

Brouke worked at Greater Waco Church Daycare where she was a teacher in the two year old classroom.  She really enjoyed teaching and being with the kids.  When not at work, she loved spending time with her two favorite people/cousins, Pantara and Lexi.  Also, she loved spending time with Dakota and all her many friends and family.  Brouke also loved making tiktok videos.  She knew how to light up a room and was the most selfless person you would ever meet.  Brouke touched more lives than she knew.

She is joined in passing with her cousin and friend Lexi Nicole Olvera.

Brouke is survived by her Mother, Jennifer Powers; Boyfriend, Dakota Lee; brothers, Chad “CJ” Chisholm, Jr. Hayden “Alex” Olvera, and Kerby Holder; Maternal Grandparents, Apolinar R. Olvera and Darlene Olvera; Paternal Grandmother, Julie Bell Avery; Aunt, Victoria Covey and her husband Jimmy; uncles, Scott Olvera and his fiancée Chuya and Chris Olvera; Cousins, Pantara Olvera, Davin Olvera, Mickey Olvera, Jaydon Covey, Jaycob Covey, Jaxon Covey, Jocelyn Covey, Eathan Olvera, and Shyann Olvera.
