Brian Shane Hedgecoke, age 42, passed away February 27, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Shane was born April 1, 1980 in Amarillo, Texas to Larry and Sharon (Wiggins) Hedgecoke. His family moved to China Spring where he graduated from China Spring High School and MCC. After graduation, Shane served his country in the United States Marine Corps, receiving several medals and commendations. After serving in the military, he worked in a machine shop for many years as a welder. Shane was an active member of Journey Christian Community. His greatest love in life was spending time with his children and even got into Pokemon with his children.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Marcella Hedgecoke and Oran Wiggins and his uncle, David Wiggins. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Larry and Sharon Hedgecoke of China Spring; sister, Tiffany Minnish and husband Tyler of Valley Mills; sister, Natalie BeShears and husband Damon of China Spring; brother, Terrence Hedgecoke of Waco; sons, Tanner Burrow of West, and Blayne and Dylan Hedgecoke of China Spring; daughter, Lucy Hedgecoke of China Spring; nieces, Alexis Minnish and Payton BeShears; nephew, Jayden Minnish; and a host of other relatives and friends.
