Brenda Kay Williams Bradish Jones, age 63, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at Providence Hospital.

Visitation:  10am to 11am Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Lake Shore Funeral Home, Waco
Graveside Service:  11:30am Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Rosemound Cemetery with Minister Ernie Christie officiating.

Brenda was born at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco on November 19, 1960 to Rufus Bill and Dorothy Louise (Cloer) Williams.  She was raised a share cropper’s daughter and was taught early on the art of home-style cooking.  Brenda loved to cook and always had plenty to share with family and friends.  She worked for many years at Hillcrest Hospital as a unit secretary.  Brenda enjoyed many hobbies including bird watching (especially Cardinals), puzzles, coloring and listening to music.  She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She had a way of always making people feel special, loved and cared for.  In everything she did, her love for the Lord always shown bright.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Bill and Dorothy Louise Williams and her brother, Donald Cleave Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Richard Dale Jones of Waco; daughters, Lisa Kay Bradish of Waco and Laura Kay Bradish of Crystal Falls, Michigan; step-son, Joshua Wayne Jones and wife Adriene of Wylie, Texas; sisters, Wilma Sims of Waco, Betty Doris Wallis of Mt. Calm, Linda Brown of Austin and Janet Aho of Florida; grandchildren, Nathaniel Bradish, Benjamin Irland Jones, Derek Rose and River Rose; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Wil Wilson, Joshua Jones, Ben Jones, Beau Jones, Nathaniel Bradish and Richard Jones.
