Brenda Jean was born in the small west Texas town of Lamesa on June 9, 1955 to Jeanie & J. D. Hyden of Big Springs. Brenda grew up and graduated from Big Springs High School and lived in Lubbock where she attended Texas Tech University. She later moved to Austin where she found the love of her life Adam Linehan.

They married and spent 20 years together living in the beautiful Piney Woods of Bastrop. Brenda loved sitting on her patio watching the wonders of all God’s Glory, watching the birds sing and being entertained by her fur babies chasing squirrels.

She loved sharing her husband’s gourmet grill cooking skills while they entertained friends and family among the towering trees at her home. If you were ever lucky enough to have meet Brenda, you would know she always welcomed you with her contagious smile and infectious laughter and her loving arms. We all will miss her dearly. Although we must say good bye for now, but her prayer and her desire would be to see you all on the other side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith “Adam” Linehan; her father, J. D. Hyden; step- mother, Bonnie Hyden; older brother, John Hyden;  and other loved family members.

She is survived by her mother, Imogene “Jeannie” and husband, Bobby Adair; three sisters, Teresa Cassidy and Jim, Linda Hyden and Sandy Wood and Blane; one brother, Randy Hyden; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Frank Linehan; and sister-in-law, Victoria.
