Bobby Joe Duke, Sr. of Waco, has gone to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 81. Bobby was born October 6, 1939 in Falls County, Texas to J.H. and Mary Alice (Quinn) Duke.

He was a great husband, Dad, grandfather and was the owner of Duke’s Auto Glass in Waco.

Survived by his wife Nancy Verlene Duke, children and spouses; Joe Allen Duke, Leon and Laura Duke, Bobby Joe Duke Jr., and Sue Spearman, Nancy Morgan Raditz and Tom Raditz, Timothy Duke, 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, along with 2 brothers and 3-sisters.

  10. Uncle Bobby..The best memories I have of was when I was growing up as a child and we still live in Waco. We was always going to yours and Aunt Verline place. I remember all would take care of us at times. I also remember u telling me u did not like funerals because u did not like to say goodbye so this is not goodbye….this is a celebration of life because u r in a better place with no pain. My thoughts and prayers goes out to your childrens , grandchildrens and Aunt Verline…..Love all of u…Chesta and Mike Peters.
