Sylvia Rodriguez, of Norwalk, Ca, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023.
Sylvia was born in Los Angeles, California and spent much of her life owning and running diners with her family. Sylvia also had a lengthy career at Bechtel Corporation, where she met many lifelong friends and had wonderful memories there.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Dolinsky; mother, Clara Ostroff; sister, Birdie Dolinsky; and husband, Richard Rodriguez. She is survived by her sister, Freda Finkelman; daughter, Carol Caster; son, Steve Scheffel; grandchildren, Brian, Sean, Stacey, Brandy, Lacey, and Stephanie; and great grandchildren, Maxwell, Jackson, Easton, Morgan, Kendall, Alyssa, and Kylee.
