Virginia was two months and seven days shy her 100th birthday. She was born on July 4th, 1924, in Bryan, Texas to Charlie Lee & Maggie May (Fitzgerald) Vaughn. Virginia retired from Owens Illinois Glass Plant in 1986 after 32 years of loyal service. Upon retirement Virginia continued serving by giving back to her community. Volunteering, most notably at Meals on Wheels and American Legion #121 where she served as past president. Virgina enjoyed playing bingo and taking day trips to the casinos. Most of all, Virginia loved and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Virginia is proceeded in death by a daughter, Paula Yarboro (1994); son, Charles “Chuck” White (2015); and her father, mother, two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam Bradbury of Waco; five grandchildren, Stacy Thomas of Waco, Wade White of Gholson, Jason Thomas of Waco, Heather Hacker of Nacona, TX, and J.D. Omberg of Florida; 7 great grandchildren and several double great grandchildren; and her faithful friend, Howard Davis
