Condolence from Bill McDonald on April 13th, 2022 1:34 am

I met Tom (then Tommy) when we attended Dean-Highland, and then Lake Air and then Richfield HS. We were in Cub Scouts together throughout Dean-Highland. Tom’s dad Ted led our Webelo den after serving as our Cubmaster. Tom was always a great guy, from the first day at Dean-Highland to the last day I saw him in high school. Tom loved playing football as long as I knew him, even after hurting his knee in high school. Tom had a gentle nature, and he was always honest and forthright. Tom was an exemplary young man, and he represents the very best memories of growing up in Waco. We are all better for having known Tom.

I want to express my condolences to you all on Tom’s passing.
I have fond memories of Tom. I went to school several years with him and had lost touch. He was one of the stalwarts of our RHS class of ’70. He was a good athlete, strong student, friendly classmate and reliable citizen. This world was better because he was here and he will be missed.

What I remember most about uncle Tom was his contagious laugh. He always seem to look and have a great outlook on life. Seems like yesterday being at grandmas and seeing him. Prayers of peace for the whole family.
