Thelma Hernandez Davis, 66, of Bruceville-Eddy passed away Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco after a long, brave fight with ovarian cancer. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 7, at St. Eugene Catholic Church in McGregor with Father Hilario Guajardo officiating. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery. After the ceremony, the family invites friends and loved ones to join them at Bosqueville United Methodist Church for fellowship. The Vigil will be 6 to 7 p.m. followed by visitation from until 8 p.m. Sunday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Drive. Mrs. Davis will be available for public viewing starting Sunday morning.
Thelma was born in San Jeronimo, Guatemala, February 22, 1944. She worked at Scott and White Hospital. Thelma

These have been very sad days, because we have lost one of the most beautiful and beloved person in our family.
I am with you in this difficult moments, even though i am far away my heart and mind are with you. Receive a big hug, with all of my love and wish to ease this grief of not having present our dear Thelma. I am very sad and my heart is very hurt but i pray to God to help us ease the pain and to remember her, who always gave us love and comprehension, with love. Please don’t forget about us, we hope you keep in touch.
My mom Olguita is very sad and sends you all of her love. She will talk to you later on, she cant stand to talk she stars crying right away , but know that she loves you.
