Sandra Martin, 69, of Krum, formerly of Waco, passed away Saturday, June 9th at her residence. Graveside services will be 10AM Friday, June 15th at Patrick Cemetery in China Spring with Pastor Victor Martinez officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Thursday, June 14th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Sandra was born July 11, 1942 in Council Bluffs, IA to Carol and Margaret (Kaut) Cherry. Sandy’s favorite pastime was going to the coffee shop to visit with her friends. Her companions over the years have been her 3 Chihuahua dogs. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She adored hummingbirds, and was a huge fan of wrestling and NASCAR, watching both religiously. She was young at heart and actually liked Rap music. Sandy survived lymphoma and lung cancer before finally passing away.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Don Martin and Bill Kidder; Daughter, Cherrie Ann Tudor-Pace; parents, Carol T. Cherry, Roy Robertson, and Margaret Kaut; brothers, Ronnie Robertson and Delmon Robertson; and sister, Bessie Garner.
Survivors include daughters, Melissa Jean Hood and husband J.R. of Krum, Margaret Christene Kidder and husband Allen Brengelof Waco, Belinda Carol Petty and husband Vernon of Harrisburg, AR; sons, Michael Anthony Tudor and wife Eva, and James Eugene Kidder and wife Sheila, both of Waco, and Jeffery Scott Kaut and wife Debbie of Nixia, MO; sisters, Helen Kirchner of Willow Springs,MO, and Linda Abel of Lenoir, NC; brothers, Larry Cherry of Clever,MO, and Roy Robertson of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren, April Jobe, Jason Jobe, Victoria Hood, Jaxson Hood, Michelle Caddell, Stoney Gilliand, Kayla Smith, Candece Mabry and Amber Mabry, Shawna Pace, David Pace, Josh Pace, Amanda Tudor, Cody Kidder, Damien Kidder, Andy Kaut, Courtland Kaut, Vernon Petty and Brandon Petty; as well as many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom you will still always be my best friend. I love you so much and I know you can see the pain I feel right now, but I would hurt 100 times worse and be ok knowing that you finally can be with Cherrie and neither of you are in pain anymore. First my deepest sympathy to the family; I know Sandy was the center for you all. And to Sandy- I would like to thank you for making me feel so welcome in the Kidder family all those years ago (gee if only I’d known- haha); thank you for teaching me the art of burping a baby, the appreciation of a cup of coffee & good company, the enjoyment of watching wrestling & all the family gatherings. You brought a smile & love to many including me.

Well I can’t call to see how you are doing or when the next Dr. visit is. I guess I will wait to hear from you. Not sure what to do with all this extra time on my hands. Might just get in to trouble and it would still be your fault:) Can’t say I will miss you cause I already do. Can’t tell you to have fun cause you already are. When I think of you I will laugh, cry or kick something and then laugh and cry.I know you did all you did just for me, I know that and I thank you for it. You did help make me, me. (that is your fault too). Glad I got to be apart of the ride. Glad I got to share your last really happy memories. Love you Lisa

Sandy, GG, you touched a lot of people’s lives. I loved watching you interact with your grandchildren, my children are included in that. I also loved witnessing the love you,Chrissy,and Michelle shared. Always there for eachother no matter what. You will be truly missed. And to your family; I am so sorry for your lose. But now she is with Cherrie and y’alls dad and she is not suffering anymore.

I miss u soo much granny! Wat I would give to have just one more day with yu. It hurts so much knwing I will never hear ur sweet voice again!! I keep thinking how I will wake up and this will all just be a dream. I love u so much give papa a hug and kiss for me.
