Rosie Lee Kucera Atkins, age 79, of Waco passed away, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her home in Waco. Rosie was born January 25, 1943, in Penelope to William and Sophia (Adams) Kucera.  She attended school in Penelope.  She met and married Douglas Atkins and had 3 daughters. Rosie loved to play 42 dominos, the lottery, bingo and she enjoyed sitting outside with her friend Rhonda Allman. Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Edwin Kucera, and her sister, Leona Kadlubar.

Visitation: Lake Shore Funeral Home, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 6 PM.

Funeral Service: Lake Shore Funeral Home, Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2 PM.

Burial:  National Cemetery near West, Texas. Brother Jeff Wyers will be officiating the service.

Survivors include daughters, Carla Huff and husband Fred, Janet Copeland and husband Kurt, Sandy Butler and husband Ray; Brother, Bill Kucera and wife Louise; sister-in-law, Margie Kucera; brother-in-law, Joe Kadlubar; grandkids, Justin Huff and wife Amy, Brandon Huff and wife Wendi, Devin Brooks and wife Jamey, Nicholas Brooks, Jeffrey Butler, Kelsie Copeland and

Brittnie Sullivan and husband Chase; great grandkids, Raygen, Makynlie, Hunter, Remington, Kaylie, and Avery, along with many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Devin and Nicholas Brooks, Justin and Brandon Huff, Jeffrey Butler and Tristan Gatlin.
