Rosemary Bradburn, 77, of Waco, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023.

Visitation: 5-7PM, Thursday, December 28 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Graveside Service: 2PM, December 29 at Highland Cemetery 1173 County Road, 346 Melissa, TX.

Rosemary was born in Waco, she attended Waco High School.  She also attended McLennan Community College.  She later moved to College Station where she raised her family.  She had a great love for children. She had a great love for dancing.  Wearing her sparkly belt and her cowboy boots was the best part. She was one of the first women allowed to coach in the Boys Little League in Bryan/College Station. She also helped with the organization for the girls’ softball teams as well.

Rosemary liked to volunteer wherever she could. She was a volunteer for the nurse’s station at her children’s school, worked with the American Heart Association and Cancer Society, and was even a volunteer as a home room mother.

Later in life, she served in the local chapter of Kiwanis Club and the Board of The Law Enforcement Academy. To her, it was a great honor to serve on both boards. She also volunteered her time with the Heart Of Texas Fair and Rodeo committee.

She was preceded by son, John Luscombe; mother, Vera Inez French; and father, Leslie Lee Bradburn.

Rosemary is survived by son, James Luscombe III; sisters, Sharon Shoemake and husband Glenn of Gainesville, and Lesley Eland and husband Mike of Houghton Lake, Michigan; and brother, Shelby Bradburn and wife Clare of Waco. She has many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend thanks to Providence Hospice for helping care for Rosemary in her last weeks.
